Overview: The La Rivera Pool Bar Manager is responsible for training, supervising, and leading all pool outlet personnel, ensuring service aligns with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies. This role oversees pool operations, including restaurant, food and beverage service, and recreation activities. The manager ensures exceptional guest service, maintains food and beverage quality, atmosphere, and manages staffing for a seamless poolside experience.

Responsibilities:

Oversee assigned shifts and assist in overall management.
Supervise and coordinate shift operations.
Assist department supervision as per manager’s job description.
Complete environmental checklists for dining areas.
Conduct spot checks on liquor pars.
Order daily supplies.
Hold pre-meal meetings.
Implement and follow-up on training steps.
Handle guest comments and complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Remain on the floor during peak hours.
Communicate with guests and gather feedback.
Observe, teach, and correct staff service.
Monitor guest experiences.
Inspect food preparation and beverage presentation.
Maintain conditions of dining room, lobby lounge, morsels, minibar, and room service.
Assist in scheduling, weekly payroll, and forecasting.
Participate in interviewing new employees as needed.
Prepare maintenance requests and follow-up.
Monitor food and liquor requisitions and food waste.
Check bar controls, shot glass use, bottle inventory daily.
Adhere to all liquor liability laws.
Know emergency procedures and promote accident prevention.
Oversee equipment maintenance and cleanliness of restaurant and pool areas.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage supervision or management, preferably with bar management experience.
Food Handler and Louisiana Responsible Vendors certifications required.
Ability to manage deadlines and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Understanding of Food and Beverage financials, including cost and par controls, preferred.
General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
