Job Description
Title: Bartender
Job Summary: A well-established Eastport institution is seeking a Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking customer orders, making drink recommendations, preparing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, maintaining a clean and inviting bar area, and managing payments. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-service oriented, and passionate about pub culture.
Responsibilities:
- Take drink orders and prepare cocktails
- Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and comply with all state and federal alcohol laws
- Collect payments and operate the cash register
- Order, maintain, and restock bar inventory
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and mopping
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of bartending experience required
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items
- Legal age to serve alcohol
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Availability for days, nights, and weekends is required
