Craft & Crew Hospitality is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join The Block - Rogers. Job Summary: The Bar Manager oversees bar operations, employee management, sales building, vendor relations, and ensures guest satisfaction for the bar and restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Manage all restaurant areas during shifts including Service Floor, Host Stand, Expo Line, Bar, and Kitchen.
Direct and coach staff during busy hours ensuring quality service and 100% guest satisfaction.
Control financial costs such as food, liquor, labor, and supplies.
Monitor labor costs and adjust staffing as needed.
Ensure all team members understand and implement company core values.
Handle guest complaints promptly to retain customers.
Interview, hire, train, supervise, and discipline hourly employees.
Provide ongoing staff feedback and conduct quarterly performance evaluations.
Create bar team schedules using labor goals and staffing guidelines.
Manage shift operations including scheduling, decision making, and upholding quality and cleanliness standards.
Supervise portion control in kitchen and bar to minimize waste.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and complete accident reports.
Develop creative solutions for operational issues.
Maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness and appearance.
Enforce food safety and sanitary practices complying with company policies and legal requirements.
Maintain high food safety standards; ServSafe manager certification required (training provided if needed).
Oversee bar operations including guest service, cleanliness, organization, and profitability.
Manage bartender training, schedules, reviews, and department meetings.
Build sales through promotions, events, and vendor relations.
Manage weekly inventory and order supplies, liquor, and glassware.
Ensure bar maintenance such as cooler cleaning and draft system upkeep.

Working Hours:

Scheduled 40-45 hours weekly, including days, nights, and weekends.
Availability for occasional phone calls (3-5 hours/week).
Flexibility to fill in for other managers and work up to 45 hours as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years industry experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
Proficient in MS Office.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to perform all restaurant roles (Host, Expo, Server, Bartender, Line Cook).
Physical ability to stand long hours, walk, climb stairs, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to operate various equipment including phones, walkie-talkies, and computers.

Supervision:

Responsible for supervising up to 25 employees per shift.
