Job Title: Bartender Department: Food & Beverage Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly Position Type: Full/Part Time Expected Hours of Work: Flexible scheduling including daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional member service by preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining consistency, and delivering excellent experiences in both restaurant and banquet settings. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Essential Job Functions:

Welcome each member personally and communicate clearly and enthusiastically.
Work collaboratively with all team members to maintain a positive atmosphere and effective service.
Develop relationships with members, learning their beverage preferences and special requests.
Keep all areas clean, organized, and stocked to Midland Hills CC par levels at shift start and end.
Mix, garnish, and serve drinks following standard recipes.
Enter drink orders into the POS system promptly, handle payments or charge to member accounts, and present signature slips.
Arrange bottles and glasses attractively according to club standards.
Polish stemware and maintain an inviting bar display.
Anticipate members’ needs and offer assistance proactively.
Serve alcohol responsibly, including arranging transportation for guests who should not drive and requesting management intervention if necessary.

Frequent hand washing required.
