Job Purpose

The Barback assists the Bartender with all bar duties and ensures the bar is fully supported for success.

Responsibilities:

Stock, set, and replenish bar supplies with professionalism and accuracy
Coordinate efforts with bartenders, service staff, and management
Deliver needed items such as bottles, ice, and kegs to maintain bar readiness
Maintain cleanliness around the bar and assist with opening and closing procedures
Keep bar glassware stocked and clean
Perform additional duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older
Friendly, outgoing, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Able to regularly lift/move up to 30 pounds and exert force up to 50 pounds
Strong active listening and communication skills
Flexible schedule availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods indoors and outdoors
Organizational, teamwork, and multitasking skills required
Six months or more experience in food and beverage preferred but not required

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced, high-energy bar and entertainment environment
Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout shifts
Work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Indoor and outdoor settings with varying temperatures and noise levels
Regular lifting of up to 30 lbs., occasional exertion up to 50 lbs.
Constant interaction with bartenders, servers, and guests
Requires focus, adaptability, and teamwork under pressure
