Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Barback to join the team!

Experience with family entertainment centers is a plus but not required. We are a team committed to delivering the best in indoor karting, virtual reality simulators, arcade fun, and fantastic event and dining experiences in a clean, friendly environment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Barback is a part-time role responsible for anticipating guest needs and exceeding service expectations while maintaining a fun and exciting atmosphere. The role supports bartenders and ensures high standards of guest satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet visitors warmly and positively.
Deliver food and beverages professionally according to Andretti standards.
Collect, wash, sanitize, and restock glassware and barware.
Continuously restock bartender stations with liquor, ice, fruit, straws, and napkins.
Maintain sanitary stations in compliance with restaurant and health standards.
Keep work areas organized, clean, and reset tables proactively.
Properly dispose of broken glassware.
Rotate and restock produce, beer, and wine in coolers and liquor rooms.
Ensure drink inventory is full and well stocked.
Provide energetic guest service with urgency.
Monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence.
Assist with guest recovery to ensure a positive experience.
Maintain knowledge of Andretti brand, products, policies, and procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
Be aware of facility emergency procedures.
Perform opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Positive, upbeat, and sociable attitude throughout the workday.
Ability to work varied schedules including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
Regularly lift up to 15 lbs; occasionally lift or stock up to 50 lbs.
Perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing.
Communicate quickly and accurately.
Work in environments with bright, dim, or flashing lights and loud sounds.
Manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment.
Follow and maintain safety standards at all times.
