Job Description
Title: Cocktail Server (Part Time)
Summary: Provides beverage service to guests in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring a superior level of customer satisfaction and encouraging future patronage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to Club Fortune Casino guests efficiently and courteously, establishing personal contact with frequent players to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.
- Promote the player tracking program and other casino promotions.
- Take and deliver drink orders accurately to customers in the casino.
- Ensure customers are playing at slot machines with minimum bet or greater prior to serving drinks.
- Communicate drink orders to the bartender.
- Remove empty glasses and bottles from the casino area; empty ashtrays; clean ashes and spills on slot machines.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to alcohol and safety.
- Report or correct unsafe work environment conditions immediately to maintain safety and cleanliness.
- Occasionally perform bartender duties.
- Assist with jackpot payouts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old to comply with state and governmental liquor laws.
- Minimum of 1 year prior cocktail serving or bartending experience preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Working knowledge of alcoholic drinks.
- Ability to represent the property in a friendly, positive, and helpful manner.
- Must meet company grooming, hygiene, and appearance standards.
- Ability to interact efficiently and courteously with management, employees, and guests.
- Gaming Control Board Registration required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and carry serving trays.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move freely throughout congested casino areas.
- Able to work in a tobacco smoke and noise-filled environment.
- Capable of standing and walking for long periods.
