Job Description

We are seeking a Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will prepare and serve beverages, provide excellent guest service, and contribute to a welcoming social environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist guests with beverage preparation and service in the bar and restaurant efficiently and timely.
Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with their drinks and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on menu offerings.
Comply with all relevant standards and safety procedures.
Promote food and beverage sales by being familiar with drinks, cocktails, spirits, specials, and prices.
Accurately take orders and process them using the Micros system, ensuring timely service and correct billing.
Prepare guest checks and handle payments.
Operate, maintain, and clean bar equipment and keep the bar well-stocked.
Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour plus tips.

Qualifications:

Minimum one year bartending experience in the foodservice or hospitality industry preferred.
Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine; luxury hospitality experience is a plus.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
Ability to obtain necessary state and local certifications (e.g., food handlers certificate, alcohol training).
