Company Overview: COQODAQ is a new fried chicken concept from Michelin-starred COTE Korean Steakhouse, located just two blocks from the COTE NYC location. Gracious Hospitality Management (GHM) is recognized for its Michelin-starred and James Beard nominated restaurants, focusing on delivering exceptional hospitality and service.

Job Summary: Barbacks support bartenders by maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar environment, preparing garnishes, and assisting with efficient service to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Complete assigned side work including setup and breakdown of the bar.
Ensure the bar is stocked with glasses, coasters, napkins, straws, ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
Greet customers and assist with orders.
Support bartenders in preparing cocktails and beverages.
Clear used glassware and maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
Organize and shelve beer and liquor deliveries.
Prepare juices, syrups, and garnishes.
Maintain inventory levels and assist in inventory counts.
Adhere to safety and health standards established by the Local Department of Health.
Assist other areas of the restaurant as needed.

Demonstrate knowledge of COQODAQ brand, culture, and values.
Maintain professional appearance and behavior.
Adhere to company policies, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
Comply with all federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications:

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain as required.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Positive, team-player attitude with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
Familiarity with workplace safety procedures.

Compensation:

New York Pay Range: $17 per hour.
