Job Description: Under general supervision, the bartender provides essential support to all bar operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and maintaining adequate stock levels of products and supplies. Responsibilities include preparing beverages, assisting guests with selections, stocking liquor and supplies, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to all relevant laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly and courteous demeanor.
Maintain knowledge of all property outlets and bar back functions.
Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs.
Keep bar stock organized and replenish supplies as needed.
Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, cutting fruit, and managing bar cleanliness.
Verify customer age by checking identification.
Take beverage orders from serving staff and patrons.
Provide product recommendations and demonstrate salesmanship.
Measure and mix drinks accurately following company standards.
Serve beverages with proper garnishes and in compliance with regulations.
Use POS system to process payments accurately and efficiently.
Remove liquor glassware according to gaming commission regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and lounge areas.
Limit issues related to excessive drinking through responsible service.
Follow health department regulations regarding food handling and storage.
Adhere to all relevant state, federal, and corporate liquor laws.
Complete opening, closing, and side duties as assigned.
Attend company training programs and pass required tests.
Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and work collaboratively with team members.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Must obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification.
Strong communication skills and effective guest interaction.
Familiarity with beverage products, wines, and garnishes.
