Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and personable bartender to provide excellent service to guests in our hotel bar. The ideal candidate should have strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
Compensation: $18 - $21 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
- Manage inventory and restock as needed.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
- Open and maintain tabs for customers.
- Build rapport with regular guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient service.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations (OSHA, HAZCOM, Bloodborne Pathogens).
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in your area).
- Minimum of 2 years bartending experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Follow all company safety and security policies.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to walk, stand, use hands, and reach with arms.
- Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
