Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team and provide an exceptional experience for our members. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, deep knowledge of spirits and beverages, excellent service skills, and the ability to maintain a high-energy, welcoming atmosphere behind the bar.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature creations, wine, and beer, following standardized recipes.
- Greet members and guests warmly, make recommendations based on their preferences, and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including cleaning glassware, wiping surfaces, and replenishing garnishes and ice.
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance and monitor alcohol consumption to promote a safe environment.
- Collaborate closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service for bar and dining room guests.
Requirements:
- Previous bartending experience, preferably in a private club environment.
- Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varietals, and craft beer styles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to remain on your feet for long shifts, lift up to 30 lbs, and work quickly in a high-volume setting.
- Valid local or state-required alcohol server certification.
