Bartender
Job Description
We are hiring a bartender with open availability, primarily for daytime shifts including weekends. The ideal candidate has experience in high-volume bartending and serving, with barista experience considered a plus. Our bar is full service; daytime bartenders manage both the bar and barista stations, preparing cocktails, coffee, wine, and beer. Responsibilities include engaging with guests, selling the menu, processing orders and payments using Toast POS, handling takeout orders, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized bar.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Prepare drinks, including cocktails, coffee, wine, and beer
- Demonstrate working knowledge of cocktails and wine
- Engage with guests to build relationships
- Take orders and process payments using Toast POS
- Handle cash and open/close checks
- Manage takeout orders
- Restock wine and liquor
- Keep the bar clean and organized before, during, and after shifts
- Prepare cocktail ingredients (e.g., juicing citrus, making syrups)
Qualifications:
- Availability on Saturdays and Sundays during daytime hours
- Prior bartending and serving experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and friendly under pressure
