The Role: A Barback is critical to the smooth operation of fast-paced bars. They assist bartenders by keeping all bar areas clean, stocked, and providing support to ensure efficient and friendly service for guests. The ideal candidate is high-energy, positive, fun, and quick on their feet.
Responsibilities:
- Stock, set up, and break down all bar products before, during, and after service while assisting bartenders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage areas
- Clear and reset tables in the bar area
- Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks and appetizers for bar patrons
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Working knowledge of common drink recipes and spirits
- Positive energy and willingness to assist support staff as a team player
- Effective communication skills with managers, employees, and guests
- Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift during shifts
