About Us Casa de Montecristo provides the adult cigar consumer with a premier cigar experience, featuring large selections of premium cigars, modern lounges, walk-in humidors, and full bars across multiple locations in the United States.
Overview The Barback supports the bartender in the daily operations of the bar.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Replenish liquor, beer, and wine as needed during the shift.
- Keep the bar, refrigerators, and service areas clean and organized.
- Assist in opening and closing side-work as assigned.
- Receive daily deliveries of liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in the bar industry or related field required.
- Flexibility to work long and varied hours.
Work Environment/Conditions Employees are regularly exposed to smoke or airborne particles and occasionally to wet or humid conditions. Noise levels are usually moderate.
Physical Demands Must regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or sit. Must frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities include the ability to adjust focus.
