Job Description
Job Title: Bartender
Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean and organized bar environment. This role requires knowledge of drink recipes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, take drink orders, and make beverage recommendations.
- Mix and serve beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
- Create and suggest new cocktail recipes and drink specials.
- Check identification to ensure legal compliance for alcohol service.
- Maintain inventory and order bar supplies as needed.
- Process transactions accurately and manage the cash register.
- Keep the bar area clean, sanitized, and compliant with food safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid TABC certification.
- Valid food handler’s card.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 20-40 lbs.
- Must meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
- Prior bartending experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink mixing techniques and bar tools.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
