Your Mission: If you are an aspiring bartender who enjoys working behind the bar and learning the art of mixology, this is the perfect opportunity. You will support the beverage operation by bussing and resetting the bar, running food and beverage items, and engaging politely and responsively with guests and teammates, including providing basic menu descriptions.

Responsibilities:

Support bartenders with pre-shift preparation, post-shift closing, and in-shift maintenance.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment including stocking supplies, washing and polishing glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, and sanitizing tables.
Stock the bar according to company liquor requisition guidelines.
Explain basic details of food dishes and beverages to guests upon delivery.
Prepare basic non-alcoholic beverages such as water, coffee, and tea.
Be knowledgeable about the bar's organization and overall facility layout.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, including plates, kegs, and beverage cases.
Experience in a high-volume craft cocktail bar is preferred.
Working knowledge of batching systems and proper stocking procedures.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of working with people.
Ability to work well with teammates while focusing on guests.
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
Compliance with safety, health department procedures, and relevant laws.
Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per hotel standards.
Ability to bend, squat, and stretch in limited spaces for cleaning and organization tasks.
Adherence to hotel policies including attendance, safety, and behavior.

Required Background:

Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Food Service Handler Card and TIPS certification with at least 6 months' validity.
1-2 years of experience preferred in a full-service restaurant or lounge.
