Title: Bartender - Georgetown, TX
Walters Wedding Estates, a Walters Hospitality brand, is seeking passionate Bartenders to join our team. If you enjoy working in a unique setting that impacts one of the most important events in a couple's life, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Set up the bar with all necessary tools, ingredients, and products.
- Ensure correct alcohol stock and quantities are on hand.
- Comply fully with TABC regulations when serving alcoholic beverages.
- Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide beverage recommendations based on their preferences.
- Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages according to venue recipes.
- Monitor guests for intoxication and politely refuse service if necessary, informing management.
- Maintain liquor inventory by counting and reporting remaining stock at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to all food and beverage safety regulations.
- Break down and clean the bar area including trash disposal, wiping counters, and mopping floors.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar bartender role preferred.
- Valid TABC and Food Handlers licenses as required in Texas.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and stand/walk for 8-12 hours.
- Must pass a background check, hold a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation.
- Eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Part-time position covering weekends, evenings, holidays, and late nights when events occur.
- Hourly wage: $12 plus tips.
- 401(k) plan with 4% company match.
