Position Overview: The Barback will assist bartenders and wait staff in multiple outlets by expediting food, replenishing supplies, and maintaining bar stations to ensure efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in bar setup, opening, and closing
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stock bar stations to par levels, ensuring liquor bottles are replenished
- Maintain clean glassware as needed
- Become familiar with the liquors and beers sold in the bar
- Greet all guests promptly and courteously
- Assist bartenders and servers by anticipating their needs while remaining calm and courteous
- Think quickly and clearly, maintaining concentration and making concise decisions
- Perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Ensure the work area is free of hazards and obstructions
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to carry/lift at least 50 lbs
- Must possess a current State Vendor’s Permit
- Previous bar experience preferred
- Willingness to work outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions
- Exposure to various hazardous chemicals
