Overview Serve guests in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet, prepare, and serve drinks to guests according to HEI Hotels and Resorts beverage service standards.
Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate laws regarding alcohol service.
Prepare and maintain the station before opening and after closing each shift.
Follow all cash handling and bank procedures as outlined by HEI Hotels and Resorts.
Complete side work duties according to schedule.
Comply with attendance policies and maintain regular availability.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous hotel experience preferred.
Knowledge of state liquor laws required.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Proficient in using point of sale computer systems.
Ability to transport trays weighing up to 30 lbs through crowded areas continuously throughout the shift.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt style for different audiences.

Compensation

Eligible for tips/service charge
Not eligible for discretionary performance bonus
