Title: Bartender

Job Summary: As a Bartender, you are responsible for beverage control, accurate pouring and serving, and maintaining a clean, organized bar. You will deliver exceptional service that meets or exceeds member expectations by consistently applying the club’s 3-steps of service.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Beverage, Director of Restaurants, or Director of Banquets.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high standards of service as outlined in the Food & Beverage training program.
Assist with food and beverage service to members and guests at the bar.
Greet members by name and provide a warm, personalized experience.
Accurately execute orders promptly and professionally.
Address and resolve complaints effectively, notifying management when necessary.
Prepare and stock the bar area with bottles, garnishes, glassware, and ice before each shift.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including regular sanitizing.
Complete daily assignments and side work to meet club standards, including restocking supplies.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and available beverages.
Ensure responsible management of liquor items to maintain beverage control.
Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Assist colleagues as needed and take on increased responsibilities in a dynamic club environment.
Adhere to all company, club, and department policies and procedures.
Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in all interactions.
Follow safe work practices and encourage team compliance.
Pursue personal and professional growth, maintaining required certifications.
Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to address challenges.
Attend daily briefings and actively participate in team activities.
Wear a clean, neat uniform that meets club standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness.
Previous experience in Food & Beverage service.
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Strong commitment to ethical work standards.
Comfortable working indoors and occasionally outdoors.
Basic knowledge of bar operations, cocktails, and wine varietals.
Ability to properly open a wine bottle with appropriate tools.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Work in various temperature environments with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
Capability to climb ladders, squat, kneel, reach, grasp, twist, bend, and fold/unfold as needed.
Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
Effective communication skills including talking, hearing, and visual acuity.

Bar Dishwasher

Work Schedule:

Adhere to schedule attendance requirements with additional hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
