Title: Barback - Part Time

Wage: $21.30 (+ Tips)

Responsibilities:

Ensure the bar and cocktail area is stocked with proper equipment and an adequate supply of liquor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the lounge and bar areas.
Stock ice bins throughout the shift.
Operate and assemble glass washers efficiently.
Prepare garnishments properly for drinks.
Set up accurate supply requisitions.
Stock and clean liquor room.
Empty garbage cans frequently and remove bus pans as needed.
Wipe down bar areas, tables, and sweep floors when necessary.
Assist bartenders and cocktail servers with serving food and drinks.
Help decorate the lounge for special promotions.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Washington Food Handler Card.
MAST Certification.

Essential Skills:

Ability to understand and respond to guest service needs.
Well-organized with the ability to maintain concentration under pressure.
Capable of assembling and disassembling linens, tables, china, flatware, and glassware according to standards.
Ability to communicate calmly in tense situations.
Ability to transport food and beverages to guests.
Able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of restaurant operations including table numbers, room capacity, dress code, and equipment maintenance.
