Title: Bartender - Altitude (Seasonal)

WAGE: $21.85/Hour (+ Tips) SEASONAL POSITION

The Bartender is responsible for taking food and beverage orders; courteously and efficiently serving guests in our Lounge and Restaurant; preparing drinks for servers; collecting payments; maintaining the bar area; and managing inventory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years of craft cocktail, high-volume cocktail, and batching/large format experience
High School Graduate or equivalent
Must be at least 21 years of age
Food Permit required
MAST certification required
Hotel experience preferred
Barsmarts certification preferred

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

Provide 100% guest satisfaction with a positive attitude, genuine hospitality, and by exceeding guest expectations
Deliver personalized attention, take responsibility, and work as part of a team
Listen, empathize, and resolve guest issues effectively
Anticipate guest needs and respond appropriately
Suggest cocktails, wines, non-alcoholic beverages, and upsell premium products
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of beverage recipes, mixing procedures, and menu
Maintain knowledge of bar inventory and wine selection
Prepare drinks accurately according to orders
Stock, order, and display supplies and glassware attractively
Use MICROS POS system to enter orders and process payments
Keep bar and floor areas clean and organized
Prepare bar garnishes and mixes/juices
Follow Department of Liquor Control laws and Marriott policies when handling cash and payments
Perform related duties as assigned by the Manager
