Job Description
Position Summary:
Our bartenders do more than mix drinks; they create memorable and unique experiences. They stay current on new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs. Beyond beverage expertise, bartenders act as hosts, taking ownership of guest service and ensuring the bar operates flawlessly. They build relationships within the hotel and community to anticipate and meet guest needs. Attention to detail, professionalism, and passion for guest service are essential.
Physical Requirements: Bartenders will be on their feet for extended periods and perform tasks that include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. They must also reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No licenses or certifications required.
Responsibilities:
- Mix drinks and maintain the quality and appearance of the bar.
- Create an exceptional guest experience aligned with The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests and staff to anticipate needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety, and professional appearance.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
