Job Title: Bartender

Position Overview: The Restaurant Bartender provides professional and courteous beverage and food service consistent with the high standards of Neiman Marcus.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve and interact with customers in a professional and gracious manner
Provide detailed information about menu items using knowledge of food preparation and culinary terminology
Support smooth service through POS/ticket systems
Utilize thorough knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including technical and service procedures
Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
Follow established accounting procedures and maintain POS system knowledge
Clean and maintain the restaurant and workstation before, during, and after shifts
Perform physical duties such as lifting tables, chairs, and other equipment as needed
Maintain high hygiene standards including clean uniform, well-groomed hair and nails to avoid contamination risks

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Experience in food and beverage service with knowledge of proper table service
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Motivated and results-driven with exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of table settings, food, and beverage service according to established guides
Physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 pounds
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
