NOW HIRING: BARTENDER — VOX KITCHEN (Costa Mesa, CA)

Must have 1 year of bartending experience.

Pay: $17.00/hr + Tips Location: Costa Mesa, California

About the Role VOX KITCHEN is looking for an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Bartender to join our team. If you take pride in creating exceptional drinks, providing warm hospitality, and working in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:

Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages based on standard recipes.
Learn guest names and build rapport with regulars.
Record all drink orders accurately into the POS system.
Accept payments, process credit cards, and make change when needed.
Wash and sanitize all bar glassware.
Prepare drink garnishes and small bar snacks/appetizers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area.
Clear and reset bar tables.
Present drink menus and answer guest questions.
Serve food to guests seated at the bar.
Report any maintenance or equipment issues to management.
Assist with restocking and inventory.
Support the restaurant team as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of bartending experience required.
Food Handler’s Card (training provided).
Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (if required).
Strong working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common drinks.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Flexible schedule: must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and sanitation standards.
Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members.
Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register/POS.
