Title: Aloft Lounge Weekend Bartender

Aloft Mountain View is a fun boutique hotel located near the Googleplex in Mountain View, California. Our hotel offers easy access to many Silicon Valley landmarks including Sutter Health, LinkedIn, Downtown Mountain View, Moffett Field, Google, Microsoft, Shoreline Amphitheatre, Apple, Intuit, California's Great America, and Levi's Stadium. We provide fresh, purposeful environments and vibrant spaces designed to bring people together.

We are seeking an energetic, customer service-oriented, and motivated Bartender to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
Prepare beverages for other servers to supply to guests.
Act as cashier for the lounge, inputting orders, handling payments, and maintaining accountability of all beverages served.
Maintain proper and adequate daily bar setup, including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce.
Manage stock by cutting and storing fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Greet guests and promote menu items.
Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate requirements related to the service of alcoholic beverages.
Lock up and store all beverage, food, and equipment items, secure deposits, and balance cash at closing.
Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available for weekend shifts.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of six months bartending experience.
Valid Food Handler and TIPS (or equivalent) certifications.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong interpersonal skills and team-player attitude.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and various alcoholic beverages.
Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and register operation.
Manual dexterity for garnishing, mixing drinks, and handling glassware and bottles.
Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
