About the Position:

The Part-Time Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, demonstrating a complete working knowledge of all products served by the bar.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks according to established Four Seasons standards and recipes.
Build rapport with guests by delivering above and beyond service.
Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests using the hotel's point-of-sale system.
Verify completed orders with the guest's original order.
Serve and take orders from guests seated at the bar, offering detailed descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks.

Skills/Qualifications:

2-3 years of serving experience in an upscale establishment with knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits.
Ability to obtain required food handling or alcohol serving certifications as mandated by local or state agencies.
Hotel or resort experience preferred.
Ability to be on feet for entire shifts and communicate effectively with guests.
Positive, above-and-beyond attitude with a flexible schedule, including availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
