Job Description
Title: Bartender
Job Summary: We are seeking a Bartender to join our team. In this role, you will take customer orders, make drink recommendations, keep the bar area clean and inviting, and create a variety of traditional and creative cocktails. You will also prepare and serve limited menu food items to patrons. The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-service oriented, and passionate about service.
Responsibilities:
- Take and prepare food and drink orders
- Confirm patrons are of legal drinking age and comply with all state and federal laws for serving alcoholic beverages
- Collect payment and operate the cash register
- Order, maintain, and restock inventory of bar supplies and ingredients
- Perform opening and closing duties, including cleaning and mopping
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or bartending preferred
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and bar menu items
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
