Overview: The Bartender is responsible for the complete setup and breakdown of the bar area and the preparation of drinks for all guests and servers. This role requires maintaining service quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and control over liquor inventory while complying with state liquor laws.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
Set up the bar according to hotel standards and ensure prompt and efficient service.
Prepare beverages and cocktails following the hotel’s mixing and presentation standards.
Serve guests courteously, addressing all beverage requirements.
Break down the bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies, and equipment properly.
Follow all state liquor laws and hotel policies.
Respond to guest complaints and incidents effectively.
Keep the bar and service areas clean and tidy during service.
Be familiar with hotel services, safety protocols, fire exits, and use of fire extinguishers.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle problems effectively.
Willingness to work flexible and occasionally long hours.
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and show initiative.
Ability to cross-train in other hotel-related areas.
Comply with hotel standards and regulations promoting safe and efficient operations.
