Title: Banquet Bartender

Job Description: The Banquet Bartender provides timely, accurate, and friendly service while preparing high-quality beverages for guests.

Responsibilities:

Follow all steps of service.
Prepare drinks according to recipe standards.
Know drink names, ingredients, preparation methods, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.
Be knowledgeable about wines by the glass and multiple wines across categories.
Understand specialty beverages such as single malt scotches, cognacs, specialty drinks, and beer.
Know bar and dining room menu descriptions.
Ensure stock levels are maintained.
Complete daily inventory and communicate changes to servers, managers, or bar backs.
Verify all guests are at least 21 years old.
Provide accurate reports of income received during shifts.
Sell beverages responsibly.
Maintain smooth service flow between bar and servers.
Complete all assigned sidework.
Report to work on time and be ready for scheduled shifts.
Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with co-workers and guests.
Keep the service area clean and orderly.
Assist with tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Fill in for server shifts when needed.
Follow proper sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications:

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
Strong communication skills; must speak, read, and understand English.
Clean and professional appearance.
Enthusiasm for 21c Museum Hotels and strong beverage knowledge.
Must pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
