Job Description: As a Bartender at the Pool Bar (Seasonal), you will receive and prepare beverage orders, including mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes. Responsibilities include completing monetary transactions, maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area and equipment, and ensuring a friendly and courteous guest interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and prepare beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers.
- Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following memorized standard recipes.
- Serve beverages using repetitive motions in accordance with service procedures.
- Operate the cash register, complete transactions accurately, and maintain an accurate cash bank.
- Maintain cleanliness by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays, and wiping the bar top.
- Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.
- Maintain and replenish ice supply.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
