Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is essential to our dining experience, providing high-quality beverage service that enhances guest satisfaction. This role requires expertise in drink preparation, inventory management, and excellent customer interaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contributes to a welcoming bar atmosphere.

Pay: $10 per hour plus tips

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations and anticipate their needs.
Welcome guests warmly to create a friendly atmosphere.
Address guest concerns with empathy and efficiency.
Manage bar inventory, secure stock, and reconcile the cash drawer accurately.
Clean and sanitize glassware and bar equipment meticulously.
Recognize intoxication signs and manage service responsibly, consulting management when necessary.
Record orders precisely, handle transactions, and ensure sales compliance.
Inform guests about menu items and promotions with knowledgeable sales techniques.
Adhere to all service protocols, including dietary and allergy precautions.
Use all tools and equipment, including POS and payment systems, proficiently.
Follow health and safety regulations, complete required training, and comply with restaurant policies.
Foster teamwork and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience preparing beverages following established recipes and standards.
Ability to stock and maintain bar supplies including alcohol, glassware, and ice.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Skilled at managing a full bar top and handling orders efficiently from various stations.
Comfortable with exposure to liquids and cleaning agents and practices safe equipment use.
Competent in operating bar equipment such as knives and blenders safely.
Effective communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
Comfortable working in tight spaces with fluctuating noise and temperature.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet throughout the shift, while navigating restaurant hazards.
