Summary: Under general supervision, the Lead Bartender opens and closes the hotel Kitchen+Bar following company policies and procedures. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized food prep and bar area while serving and assisting guests. The Lead Bartender must present a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture with customers and team members. General knowledge of the hotel, area, and events is required to assist guests effectively.

Responsibilities:

Open and close the Kitchen+Bar according to company standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and food prep areas
Serve guests with quality hospitality and professionalism
Perform duties as bartender, prep cook, cocktail server, or other roles as needed
Obtain and maintain all required certifications
Handle money, make change, operate POS systems, and related equipment
Manage supplies necessary for cocktail preparation
Address difficult situations and guests diplomatically while maintaining professionalism

Required Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older
At least one year of bartending experience; two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of two years of college preferred
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to obtain and maintain company-required certifications
Experience handling money and operating bar and kitchen equipment
Ability to lead and work effectively with team members
