Job Description
Title: Bartender
Pay rate: Hourly + tips Role type: Non-exempt
Essential Job Duties:
- Welcome guests to the restaurant/bar.
- Share knowledge of the food menu and spirits, beer, and wine.
- Assist guests with the PopStroke mobile ordering app.
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders to restaurant, bar, and golf guests.
- Serve guests in the restaurant and golf course areas with outstanding attention to service, providing a memorable and fun experience.
- Ensure cleanliness of all restaurant, food & beverage, and gaming areas.
- Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks, stock ice, glassware, flatware, and supplies.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients, labeling prep items, receiving supplies, and notifying the manager of shortages or discrepancies.
- Comply with all safety and sanitation ordinances, and all state liquor laws and regulations.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, processing payments and balancing cash drawers.
- Responsible for proper outdoor furniture and yard games storage.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and seamless service.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience in a high-volume environment required.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Experience using POS systems.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Strong teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach for long periods.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to safely use a ladder.
