Job Title: Bartender - Glade Parks, Euless, TX

Location: Thirsty Lion Gastropub Glade Park - Euless, TX 76039

Thirsty Lion Gastropub offers a warm and inviting environment with an eclectic menu featuring multicultural cuisines made from scratch using local, seasonal ingredients. Our bar serves a wide range of local craft beers, premium cocktails made with fresh fruit purees and juices, and 25 varieties of wine. Guests enjoy a craft brew and meal while watching sports on flat screens, surrounded by an open kitchen, central bar, and sunlit patio.

Mission: Thirsty Lion aims to evolve the gastropub experience by creating a welcoming place where friends and family can celebrate life over hand-crafted food, beer, and cocktails.

Company Background: Established in Portland, Oregon, Thirsty Lion has 11 locations across Oregon, Arizona, Colorado, and Texas, with plans for nationwide growth.

Responsibilities:

Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes and standards using proper tools and techniques.
Provide professional, friendly, and attentive service to guests throughout their visit.
Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menus, specials, seasonal beers, drinks, current promotions, and events.
Ensure bar cleanliness and organization, including rotation and stocking of coolers.
Manage inventory and minimize liquor loss by adhering to cost control measures.
Operate POS systems accurately to enter orders and process payments, following company accounting policies.
Comply with all state liquor laws, company policies, and safety guidelines regarding alcohol service and storage.
Assist with side work, cleaning, and other duties as assigned by management.
Attend ongoing food, bar, and service training sessions.

Requirements:

Ability to obtain valid food service and alcohol permits.
Strong interpersonal skills and professional appearance.
Ability to work varied shifts, including late hours, weekends, and holidays.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Friendly, outgoing attitude toward guests, coworkers, and management.
Must follow company and state safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.

Physical Requirements:

Continuous standing and walking.
Frequent bending, squatting, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Occasional kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
