Purpose: The Bartender is responsible for welcoming guests, accurately taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery to their satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide guests with accurate information about menu items, pricing, and allergens
Cultivate repeat business by recognizing regular guests
Promptly and accurately enter orders into the POS system
Serve food and drinks promptly and according to specifications
Replenish necessary stock during shifts
Move furniture as directed by management
Verify guests' age (21+) before serving alcohol
Provide timely service to food servers
Follow precise drink recipes
Organize and prioritize service tasks
Respond to guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
Comply with safety, health, and liquor laws
Maintain sanitation standards
Process guest payments including cash, credit cards, and comps
Accurately account for all bar monies and follow banking procedures
Clean spills immediately and dispose of trash properly
Report complaints, incidents, equipment failures, and safety hazards to management
Complete nightly, weekly, opening, running, and closing duties
Monitor and manage potentially intoxicated guests responsibly
Assist with additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma preferred
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Valid driver’s license
Age 21 or older
Possession or ability to obtain required state work cards
Minimum two years related experience
Experience with POS systems
Strong knowledge of beer and spirits
Guest relations and safe alcohol service
Sanitation and safety awareness
Full-service restaurant operations experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Working Conditions:

Work indoors and outdoors with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, crowds, and smoke
Fast-paced, high-volume environment
Varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk and stand for long periods
Ability to use hands to handle tools and controls
Ability to repeat movements for extended periods
Clear speech and good hearing
Ability to push and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
