Title: Lead Bartender
Division: Food and Beverage Reports To: FOH Lead / Village Dining Room Manager Classification: Full-Time / Seasonal / Hourly
Position Overview: Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking a creative and passionate Lead Bartender to join our food and beverage team in the beautiful Utah Cottonwood Canyon. The Lead Bartender will prepare and serve classic and innovative cocktails, provide excellent customer service, and assist with front-of-house management tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, learn about their preferences, and recommend beverages
- Prepare and serve drinks accurately and efficiently
- Use the InfoGenesis system to take food and drink orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar environment
- Verify IDs for customers who appear under 35 years old
- Track and log BERG numbers daily, including spillage and errors
- Manage customer bar tabs and daily sales reports
- Balance the cash bank at the end of each shift
- Assist FOH Lead with floor management, side work verification, inventory tracking, and reporting
- Provide guests with information about the resort and local area
- Build rapport with guests including locals, travelers, and regular patrons
Job Requirements:
- Professional, friendly, efficient, and outgoing demeanor
- Experience with bar equipment and drink mixing
- Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Valid Food Handlers Permit
- Sips n Tips Certification
