Seasonal Barback
Position Summary High West Distillery & Saloon is seeking a committed Barback to support our bartenders and provide a 5-star guest experience aligned with the high standards of the High West bar program. Barbacks ensure the bar is well maintained and functioning efficiently during service. High West is a rapidly growing company offering opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive rewards program.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in the efficient operation of all bar areas.
- Prepare all items needed for a flawless shift.
- Ensure sufficient product availability and help set up the bar for success.
- Develop basic knowledge of spirits, craft cocktails, and the back bar.
- Commit to delivering outstanding customer experiences to guests and bartenders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a restaurant support role.
- General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Work indoors and outdoors in warm and cold climates.
- Work on wet surfaces and at heights.
- Exposure to loud noise, fumes, and mechanical parts.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods and work on a computer for extended time.
