Job Summary: The F&B Bar Manager is responsible for managing casino floor bars and Event/Banquet staff. This role includes organizing for maximum efficiency through scheduling, hiring, training, disciplining, and evaluating employees. The manager operates within the budget established by the Food and Beverage Director. Responsibilities include daily operations, guest interaction, cash handling, special events management, ordering, and inventory control of liquor, wine, and beer. The position also involves product pricing recommendations to meet financial goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage casino floor bars and Event/Banquet employees, including hiring, evaluations, training, disciplinary actions, and termination recommendations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for guests and employees
Promote excellent guest relations and ensure a positive experience
Coordinate with Marketing to plan and implement restaurant promotions and special events
Coordinate with Security to ensure safety during events
Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of casino floor and banquet bars
Establish wait sections and schedule staff based on projected revenue
Monitor labor costs daily, weekly, and monthly to comply with budget guidelines, especially payroll
Track time and attendance and prepare labor reports for payroll processing
Greet guests, exceed their expectations, and encourage repeat visits
Fill in for absent employees in various roles including cash register, bartending, and serving
Manage banquets/events (excluding lawn events) including setup and breakdown, focusing on speed of service and revenue maximization
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Director

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum of two years supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to obtain TIPS certification within 60 days of employment
Possess a food handler card and obtain ServSafe certification within six months
Knowledge of liquor, beer, and wine bar operations in a casino and banquet setting
Strong supervisory and operational leadership skills
Excellent guest service, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities
Experience in staff development and training
Strong math, verbal, and written communication skills
Familiarity with food and beverage procedures and cash handling
Adherence to Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board regulations

Working Conditions:

Work environment includes casino, event center, and office settings
Ability to work day and night shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Frequent interruptions and exposure to smoke-filled environments
On-call availability 24/7

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing, twisting, or bending
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Manual dexterity for computer and paperwork tasks
