Job Description
Title: Bartender
Description: Provide genuine and extraordinary service to all guests to exceed their expectations. Use teamwork and enthusiasm while serving food and beverages, employing proper service techniques. Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes to bar and dining room guests while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages following established recipes.
- Provide exceptional hospitality to all guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas.
- Manage multiple guest orders simultaneously.
- Accurately take and deliver guest orders.
- Stock bar and storage areas with liquor, beer, wine, glassware, ice, and supplies.
- Recognize intoxicated guests, avoid over-serving, and alert management as necessary.
- Operate equipment including POS terminals, credit card machines, coffee machines, and draft beer systems.
- Handle cash accurately and securely.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
- Completion of alcohol awareness training and/or food handler certification.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to teamwork with a pleasant attitude.
- Compliance with all safety, sanitation, allergy, and dietary protocols.
- Ability to multitask and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a busy environment.
