Job Description
Title: Restaurant Barback
Join our dynamic team at The Confluence Hotel, a charming boutique hotel located in the historic downtown area of Hastings, Minnesota. We are seeking a motivated and attentive Barback to support our bar staff and ensure an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages to ensure smooth service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
- Support in preparing ingredients and tools needed for drink service
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel standards
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests and staff
- Assist with general cleaning duties in the bar and surrounding areas
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or bar support preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic bar operations and safety procedures is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Positive attitude and professional appearance
