Job Description
Title: Bartender
Overview: Serve beverages and food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner to achieve high guest satisfaction.
Growth Path: Beverage Manager/Restaurant Supervisor – Restaurant Manager – Food & Beverage Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
- Check customer identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
- Prepare and serve drink and food orders.
- Take orders, serve, and clear food and beverages to guests seated in bar and lounge areas.
- Process guest payments.
- Identify and manage intoxicated guests according to standards.
- Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
- Perform required side work before shift end.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.
- Assist with beverage inventory.
- Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
- Practice safe work habits and follow OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous bartending or mixologist experience required.
- High school diploma preferred.
- TIPS certification is a plus.
- Food Sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment.
