Job Description

Sibling Revelry is seeking a high-energy, full-time Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is guest-focused—greeting customers, answering questions, recommending new brews, and expertly pouring beer. You should be knowledgeable about each beverage offered and able to make recommendations based on guests’ preferences. You will be the primary point of contact for taproom patrons, playing a vital role in ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Essential Functions:

Welcome guests, answer questions, and recommend new brews for tasting.
Operate the Point-of-Sale system, including opening and closing bills/tabs and handling cash drawer transactions for each shift.
Learn about the beers on tap and educate guests accordingly.
Engage customers by sharing the story of Sibling Revelry Brewing when asked.
Maintain cleanliness of the taproom by wiping tables, bar, chairs, taps, removing trash, and sweeping as needed.
Prepare the taproom for opening, including arranging tables and chairs.
Follow closing procedures.
Restock kegs on tap as needed.
Stock and rotate retail items such as shirts, hats, packaged goods, and beer-to-go fridge.
Coordinate with the Taproom Manager and Assistant GM to ensure customer pickups are prepared and ready.
Comply with all beverage regulations.
Assist in planning and implementing special events, projects, or program changes as assigned.
Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required.
Minimum of 3 years in the beverage/hospitality industry, including at least 2 years in beverage/hospitality business management.
Certified Cicerone® preferred but not required.
Ability to pass a background check.

Knowledge & Skills:

Knowledge and interest in the craft beer industry.
Professional and effective interaction with employees and the public.
Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to think quickly and adapt.
Strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stoop, stand, walk, bend, and remain upright during work.
Ability to visually read written and digital information.
Ability to assess accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work and make general observations.
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
